WOW what an incredible place to stay, where to start!
First the team who made our stay so enjoyable. From the host (clear and concise communication pre booking and during our stay), the incredible ladies who come to cook breakfast and evening meals if requested (highly recommend the best food during our 2 week stay on island and the cheapest too!) as well as the tuk tuk drivers.... you are being welcomed and looked after by close friends and family.

Now the property and location... the pictures do not lie, in fact its even better in real life. Location means walking out of the 'back gate' directly onto the beautiful beach and stunning water (so clear), with great snorkelling. And the house was perfect, ensuite bathrooms, beautiful views across the bay, perfect plunge pool...it was heaven.

We've stayed in some pretty amazing places and this Airbnb is up there as my favourite place. We will be back for sure and we'll stay a lot longer!

Genuinely the best places we have ever stayed at. The home is stunning, from the bedroom you feel like you are in the sea. And the outside area is spacious, with a beautiful pool overlooking the sea.

The beach at the doorstep of the house is beautiful, with pristine water and very calm settings. The host is super helpful, provides tips on everything you need and is flexible on check in and out, subject to availability. The breakfast is ready made by the lovely staff, everything is fresh and delicious.

Overall it was way above 5* hotel experiences.

Wow what a place. Property perfect, best garden view I have ever had. Staff/Team are great, First Class service. Local area, friendly, safe, Fisherman out hauling in at 6am, nice quiet place. Felt entirely entrenched in local life. Beach was perfect, sea clear, snorkelling just a few metres away. Lots to do locally or just a short Tuktuk ride away.

Would highly recommend and if we are ever back in SL we will be paying a visit - I miss this place!!

Our 9 days at Trinco House may have spoiled all future holidays. The villa’s beachfront location was perfect for our two families—some played or snorkeled while others relaxed at the house without needing to pack up or travel. The photos are accurate, but being there in real life is even more stunning.

The sea was great for swimming, with water sports nearby, (we did jet ski and dolphin boat trip) but the highlight was the snorkelling spot right by the villa — we saw countless fish and even turtles five times! The house provided snorkels, paddle boards, and body boards, adding to the fun.

Breakfast was outstanding, far beyond what’s described—two lovely local ladies cooked incredible spreads of western and local dishes, ready whenever we wanted. They also prepared other meals for us several times, all delicious. The whole team were exceptional including Sahana who was so quick to reply with tips/help. Overall, an unforgettable stay that will be hard for any villa holiday to match.

This was a truly exceptional stay and experience. The villa is pristine and set on a beautiful beach that allowed for swimming and amazing views and sunrises; the private pool was a real bonus.

What really made this exceptional was the care and attention of the property manager (Sahana) and all of the staff who maintained the property at the highest level each day. The delicious meals were an unexpected highlight for us and we felt very spoiled.

Our family will always remember this as a very special part of our Sri Lankan vacation.

The six of us felt very comfortable in the villa right from the start. We were very happy about the varied and very tasty breakfast every morning! The house is very nicely and modernly furnished and was very clean! The service by Sahana and her team in all matters was excellent! It couldn't be better!

The beach right in front of the villa is beautiful and the sea is great for swimming and snorkelling! We really enjoyed our holiday!

Best stay in Trincomalee! It is right on the beach where snorkeling can be done. Near restaurants. Sahana was there to welcome us and attend to all our enquires swiftly. We asked about life jacket before we arrived and were touched to find that they have gotten them ready for us.

Free drinks and snacks were provided, we love the little nibbles! Breakfast was delicious and prepared by 2 lovely cooks. The room was very clean, with a lovely view of the beach, sunrise and fishermen hard at work to bring in their fishing nets each morning. Extremely love the time we spent there!

Best Airbnb we’ve stayed in anywhere in the world. The views are gorgeous, the beautiful beach is right at the end of the garden and the garden has a great pool and sunbathing spots. The rooms are spotless and peacefully stylised.

The hosts looked after every need - giving advice on where to eat and snorkel and were very communicative during our stay. You effectively have a private chef who cooks amazing Sri Lankan dishes, but the bbq fish and shrimps were our favourite! It feels like a private villa and one that is very difficult to leave!

An amazing property. Exclusively private, luxurious, well looked after and one of the best place we've stayed at. The host provided a list of local recommendations as well as a breakfast/lunch/dinner menu that could be decided the night before. Any request made was met almost immediately.

The bedroom, bathroom and all furnishings were of high quality with a beautiful floor-to-ceiling window framing the ocean view. The courtyard was well maintained, pool cleaned every morning and felt extremely private with it's own section of beach. Good location for a tuktuk into Uppuveli.
